Nodaway County re-elects Sheriff Strong

  Incumbent Republican Nodaway County Sheriff Randy Strong was easily re-elected picking up over 73 percent of the vote in defeating Democratic challenger Darren White, a former Nodaway County Sheriff. Strong says he believes voters appreciated what he was able to accomplish during his first term as sheriff.

Other results in Nodaway County, in the South District Commissioner's race, Republican Scott Walk defeated Democrat Robert Lager picking up 55 percent of the vote.
Republican Dee O' Riley defeated Democrat Diane Thomson in the Public Administrators race with 60.1% of the vote.
The Grant Township General Obligation Road Bond Question passed easily receiving over 80% of votes cast in yesterday's election.
